is this enough to buy my daughter for xmas?
hi there.im starting to think about xmas and have ideas on what to get my daughter.my prob is that i never know when enough is enough and end up buying loads of rubbish she doesnt need. im planning to get her a dolls house with furniture and figures from the early learning centre, wooden play sets for her kitchen.sylvnian families cottage and figures.a play ironing board and iron.wooden cup cake set, nurses outfit and case, magnetic alphabet board, play make up and dolls head plus some books and jigsaws.do you think this is enough for a 4 year old or is it too much.
also how many gits do you tend to give our children an generally how much will you be spending on each child this year.just asking out o curiosity really x

It sounds like more than enough…and I wouldn’t buy her an expensive doll house at four years old…she won’t know how to take good care of it.
And my son is only two and I am pregnant with a girl but we’ll probably only have a budget of $100 to $200 per child per year until they are much older…
My children get two gifts each and always have done and always will. In addition they both get $100 which they have to donate to a worthwhile charity. They get to choose the charity.
emm, i would only have been given one of those things when i was a kid. i’m 20, when i was 4 i would have gotten a sylvanian family house and a few figurines and maybe my parent may have thrown in a sewing kit so i would have been able to make some clothes for the figures (our family were very skilled)
So, i suggest pairing it down to the dolls house and then maybe a few books, better under spoilt, they will turn out much better.
I’ve always have gotten a lot for christmas.
That sounds like a ton for a 4 year old
remember every christmas now your child is gonna expect more each time
thats perfect
i recieved about that many presents at the age of 4! (now 15)
i don’t think it is too much at all..
